Golf has temporarily taken a back seat to the development of Fiddleheads but when Teresa is not working on or dreaming of Fiddleheads possibilities, she is dreaming of her 3rd hole-in-one! Teresa is an active supporter of the Escondido's Children Museum by hosting an annual "Artsy Fartsy Event" This event not only helps raise money and awareness for the non-profit but also teaches three masters techniques to toddlers.

Teresa decided to pursue her dream of an Aveda Concept Salon with hard and dedication she excepted the Pure Growth Award from Aveda in Minneapolis October 2002, just before the salons two year anniversay. September 2003, Teresa completed the Photography course in London. In May 2004, she had another opportunity to study with the artisitc team in London. This time the majority of the hair department came along for the Cut/Color Connect Course. September 2008, Teresa is enrolled in Men's Cut & Color trend class in Minn,MN followed by the fall Cut & Color Collection in Las Vegas.
In June 2007, Teresa decided not to renew her lease and closed Fiddleheads location in Encinitas but moved to join the team at Salon Salon International
